Hello everyone,

new to the forum, was trying to find some answers but my situation is quite unique. I am a Polish ( EU) citizen and also have USA citizenship. I currently and have for the past 5 years lived in England.
My wife and I have been married for 4 years and she has moved to Canada due to job opportunity back to Canada ( My wife is a Canadian citizen).

I know I will be applying as an OUTLAND as I need to continue to work. ( cannot afford to be out of work for 4 months)

Do you know the processing times for Poland ( it states 11 months) and USA (14 months). I would like to be able to move to Canada in less than a year.

I can obviously travel to Canada from UK on my Polish or USA passport, which I have been doing about 5 -6 times per year for the past 3 years.

Please let me know where should I apply as an OUTLAND applicant. USA, Poland or UK. I've heard that USA applicants may be the quickest what is your experience.
Thank You for any information.

Outland US citizens are being approved in less than 6 months. But as you are living in UK they may send your application to the UK (London office) as you are residing there. Applicants cannot choose where the app gets processed, it's up to CIC to make that determination. They can make that determination on your citizenship or residency. No one here would be able to tell you when your application would be processed. Bottom line though, it's likely you will get your PR in under 1 year.

cool, yeah it would be nice to get it done under 6 months time, I should have done this long time ago :(.
Yeah see what you mean about processing place, they will decide where to send it. I guess I will try to process it through the USA, we'll see what happens.
