My wife is living in Mexico but she is visiting me in Canada right now, i'm pretty sure they will ask for police certificate soon.
Can she do the police certificate in Canada like this example: If you live outside of Mexico:
You must first submit your application for permanent residence or citizenship. We’ll tell you when you need a police certificate. We’ll submit a police certificate on your behalf after you give us:
if she just visiting temporarily in Canada and has already submitted spousal sponsorship application......may be wrong, but don't think you need to send PCC for Canada if the sponsorship has been submitted......you may wait until asked by IRCC.
Police certificates
The principal applicant and each family member 18 or older (who are not already Canadian citizens or permanent residents), must submit police certificates from the following country or countries with the application:
Current country of residence if you (or they) have lived there for six months or more.
and
The country where you (or they) resided for most of your (or their) life since the age of 18.
Its because for Mexico, we cant send the police certificate upfront, we need to wait the email from the visa office when they will ask for it.
But if she in Canada for visit, I wanted to know if its possible to do it here
No...you can't....

I will potentially be in the same situation as my wife will either be in Canada or the US when they request the police certificate from her. Were you able to get them done outside or did she have to go back to Mexico?
