Hi,

What is the process for applying for a police verification ? FYI, I am currently working in Canada on a WP and my Wife/Kid is in India.Do we need to apply for two separate police verifications, one in Canada(for me) and another in India (for my wife/kid). also please let me know what are the steps for applying for police verification in Canada/India.

Thanks

just get the police clearance from india for yourself, wife and kid.do not worry about canada they have direct access to RCMP database.
check with authorities in your back home or indian consulate in canada how to get it.

You need a police clearance for you and your wife from every country you have lived in for at least 6 months, EXCLUDING Canada.

If you have only ever lived in India (besides Canada), that is the only one you need.

Assuming your child is under 18 years, so no clearance required.
