I am an Indian National currently working in canada on a post study work permit.
I will be traveling to India in May for a period of 1 month.
I wanted to get a police clerance certification as i know BLS is the service provider for Indian Nationals already in Canada, for Police clerance certificate for PR processes.
Wanted to know, since i will be traveling to India, can i get a police clearance certificate from there itself via BLS India, or local authorities (Which one's ? ) which are accepted by canadian government for PR processes.

I would recommend you to come back to Canada. And apply via BLS Canada. Don't take a chance with police certificate from India. Your country of residence is Canada. As per CIC, it is clearly mentioned that the police certificate should be dated after your last visit to a country where you have lived more than 6 months. Hope this helps.
