Police Clearence Certificate

Dear All,

I got Pcc on March 2014 from canada and India when i was living in canada. My wife got Pcc from India on March 2014. But i have applied my PR under cec on middle of June 2014 with all documents including the Police clearence Certificates. I still not get my MR and also looking it.

My both PCC date gone to more than one Year (India and canada, Me and spouse). Right know i live in India

My question is,

1. Will cic ask new Pcc for me and my spouce?

If yes, Please anybody can give details to that

2. How can i get Pcc(Finger print) from India for my lived period in canada?

according to my knowledge cic will not ask a new pcc as long as u pcc submitted at the time of application meets its criteria.
2> i dont understand your question. if u need a pcc (India) while living in canada, for that download form from bls website and submit it to bls center in person or through registere mail.

I am currently working in Canada but we got our police clearance certificates from our police station in India signed by the DSP. Would they suffice or is it compulsory that we get certificates from the Indian Embassy through BLS?

Nope that is NOT sufficient for sure please get that through BLS soon as that would take 2 months around.

Will it have a negative impact if I submit what I have now and apply through BLS simultaneously hoping that it would come through in 2 motnhs?

Fill the application properly and go to Indian embassy after 3 weeks. There is a good possibility you will get it 3-4 weeks time. In my case, PCC was ready but BLS was just sleeping. BLS would force you to use Fed ex option but don't agree to that.
