Police clearance

I had lived at more than 2 places after the age of 18 in my home country,do I have to take Police clearance certificate from all the places?or just from the places specified in passports?I am residing outside Pakistan for 10 years.

hello sadia. did you live in each place for more than six months? once it is for more than six months then you will need to obtain one from each place.

if u r applying online then no need of police certificate

u won't need it at the time of the applying online. however they will request it later on during processing. it is advisable that you begin the process of obtaining the police certificates because it takes a while to receive them depending on the country. therefore, when the formal request is made by your embassy for the police certificate the delay in processing your study permit application would be minimized.

you dont need..only acceptance letter, proof of fund, digital photo, passport,and application form needed...there is optional space for letter of explanation and nothing else

Let me clarify what I am saying. In order to apply online you don't need the police certificate at the time. However later on in the application processing stages, the visa officer may ask you to submit a police certificate since you resided in another country for six months or more. It is better to be safe than sorry. You can go ahead and apply online without the certificate but get it on standby in the event the embassy formally requests the document.
