Police clearance request from Canadian embassy abudhabi Good news?

I gotts Police clearance request from the embassy about a month back im waiting on my fbi clearance to arrive first, is this good news does it mean my chances for visa are good, or is it just standard procedure, any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

Police Clearance is definitely a standard procedure (in specific countries), though its not maintained in Bangladesh or India anymore. Last year my checklist included a police clearance certificate in it but the updated checklist for this year has no sign of that.

The Embassy is just making sure that you are free of all criminal charges and activities that's all. Once its proven, the VO wouldn't bother pointing his finger at you regarding this specific matter. Hope you get your visa soon insha Allah!!

It's nothing
You see, the arab world has alotttt of 'launchis'
If you have been in Dubai or specially Muscat, you'll know what it means. Its routine procedure. I didnt include it in my package either, and usually they dont ask for it. But when they do, it's nothing unusual.
