police clearance , medical - in india any specific request required?

Husband is going next week for his medical and police clearance in india.

I have a question- when going for police clearance is there any specific type of clearance he would say he needs ? (ex- spousal visa clearance, or just a regular clearance)- what would he say he needs it for ?


Also for medical- would he have to say he needs it for spousal visa application when he gets medical done - do they need proof of marriage or

Hi Simkaur,

If you are an NRI then you can get the Police Clearance Certificate from the Indian Consulate/Embassy where the country you are residing. Its is much faster and easier than getting Police Clearance from India
