Does any one have idea of whether the high commission asks for a new Police clearance certificate after every 6 months? I submitted one in April 2014 and received a letter this October telling me to submit the PCC. It didn't mention whether they didn't received my previous one or just in case they need a fresh one. Any idea?
Most probably, since the April one must have expired ( it has 3 months validity) and they are near finalizing your immigration status, CIC requested for a fresh PCC. If you have a valid Medical then hopefully you'll be getting the PPR.

I dont believe they do, if they were within the 3 month validity period when received they are fine. I have read on this forum that there is a generic request email that some offices send that states if you havent sent this previously please send a copy now. Is your letter worded something like this?
