Police Clearance India - Edmonton BLS

I submitted my passport today for police Clearance India with BLS Edmonton.

Q.1 Does any body know how long would it take to get the passport returned?

Q.2 I was informed that I could provide different delivery address for my PCC as I live a little far away from Edmonton? Did any one else had same concern?

I got it done from Vancouver BLS. It generally takes less than 2 weeks.

Not sure about postal delivery. I have done a pickup.

I applied from Edmonton, to Vancouver BLS. Mine took a 1.5 months.

Do we usually have an option to send different city? Vancouver or Ottawa?

I m living in alberta near calgary, i applied POlice clearance certificate to Vancouver bls, & i got within a 25 business days.

Hi everyone,
My name is Mahima. I am residing in Edmonton ,Alberta, Canada and a citizen of New-Delhi, India. I had applied for a Police Clearance Certificate and had submitted my original passport for the same to the BLS International Cent. in Edmonton, Alberta on October 27th,2015.
The regular processing time is 4-6 weeks as mentioned on the BLS International website and as per Consulate General's website a PCC usually can get issues in 10 days . It has been 10 weeks (2.5 months appx.) now and I haven't received back my PCC as well as my Original Passport. Could you please help me and guide me what i should do as I have to immediately apply for my Permanent Residency based on the AINP (Alberta PNP) that is about to expire very soon. Application online status from 2.5 months is Processing at consulate general.

NOTE: I have been asked my the BLS International Center support to contact the Vancouver Consulate General as this is way over the usual processing time.

Calling BLS Edmonton doesn't help. Calling Consulate in Vancouver doesn't help as they have no support on the phone. PLEASE GUIDE ME. Thanks.
