Hello People,
I am an Indian working in Canada for past two years and have a full time permanent skilled LMIA approved job (NOC A). I have a 2 years old Police Clearance Certificate from India, would it still be valid for Permanent Residency application as I have never been outside of Canada for more six months?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
DayDreamer
Could anyone suggest me something please.
I would suggest you to apply with PCC letter you have without any unnecesarry LOE as it is clearly mentioned on their website:
For any other country
For any
other country, the police certificate must be issued
after the last time you stayed there for
6 months or more in a row.
Some countries put
expiry dates on their police certificates. If you have a police certificate that expired, include it. We’ll accept it if:
- it was issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row
- it is not for the country where you currently live
They are very well aware of current situation and I strongly believe they would not ask for a new one. They have all your's travel history details recorded in the system. Even if they would require from you they would communicate to you.
thank you so much for your response!
a sigh of relief.
you have a good day
cheers,
Day
