Police Clearance Certificate Processing Time BLS Application Centre, Toronto

Hi,

I am an Indian citizen. I applied to the BLS Application Centre,Toronto to get a Police Clearance Certificate from the Consulate General of India on 14th Aug 2014 in order to apply for immigration under CEC (currently working on my PGWP in Canada). They gave me an Application Reference Number with which I can track the status. It has been 29 days and the status still says : "Processing at Consulate General".

Does anyone knows how long it takes to get it? I've submitted my passport to them as they required it.

Replies would be highly appreciated.

I am in same situation. I applied on 15th August but still status showing as 'Processing at Consulate General'. I called them today but they said same story under processing.

I applied for PCC in Dec'13 and I got it in 2 weeks ,i have read that people normally get it in 2-4 weeks.

I would suggest if it crosses 4-5 weeks then contact Indian consulate.

Also continue with your application for CEC ,dont wait for PCC for applying.

We are in same boat. I submitted mine on Aug 18 and still waiting. it says : "Processing at Consulate General".
Please keep updated.

I guess can't do much except waiting ... but will give them a call or visit if it crosses more than then 6 weeks ... I'll update you guys as soon as I hear something back ...

codemstr is ahead of my date but we did not hear any status from him/her. So not sure and may be depends on no. of locations you mentioned in the application.
