Hi,

I am currently living in Canada on the work permit visa. I am in the process of applying for my PR in Express entry. I am an Indian citizen.

I have a question on the Police verification certificate.

1) I got my police verification certificate from the Indian embassy in New York, US in August 2018. I moved from US to Canada in Oct 2018. Can I use this certificate which I have in hand or should I apply for a new one from the Indian embassy in Canada?

2) How long is the police verification certificate valid for?

Thanks

Did you visit India since you obtained Indian PCC?

Usually until you go back to that country unless expiry date specifically mentioned on the certificate itself (for example my Mexican PCC has an expiry date of 30 days)...

Hi,

I didn't go back to India since I obtained PCC.

There is no expiry date in my PCC.

Thanks
I would suggest apply with the current one you have and then at the same time apply for a new one.
Once you have the new one, you can always upload it through Web form..I did same for my Australian PCC....
