Can anyone help me with police clearance certificate?
i am resident of india and i had been to different states in india (during college or university period). Base on text on police clearance, do i need police clearance from all the states where i had live for more than six month since from 18 years? Or i need only one police clearance from the place i am presently reside?
Apply for a Police Clearance Certificate from your District Police Superintendent's office. They will advice you accordingly. No need to get PCCs from all the places where you lived or visited.
If you lived in any other country (Foreign country) for more than 6 months, you should get PCC from that country.
A PCC is for each country that you lived, not for each province or state within a country. You could also apply for a PCC thru the Regional Passport Office.
I am planning on applying for my spouse's PR and she requires the PCC. She is in the same situation where she works in a different city from where she attended college.
What did you end up doing? Did you have any problems with the approach you took in the end?
