POLICE CHECK IN UK

Where would a Jamaican Citizen who is a Canadian PR applicant through Kingston Jamaica start to look at getting a Police Check in UK because they lived there for more than 6 consecutive months?

I know the PR applicant would not have to go to UK to get the police check done but is there a way that a family memeber in UK can go on her behalf?

Can anyone give me the info to where they did a police check in London?
