I am an American citizen applying for spousal sponsorship. My Canadian spouse and I currently live in South Korea, where I have lived for a year and half and she has lived for 4 years.
1) I have also lived in the Czech Republic for 10 months.
2) She has lived in China for 2 years.
Am I correct in understanding that we need to obtain original police certificates for ALL of these countries? Or will just the police certificates for our home countries be required? Every time I look at the CIC website I end up clicking around and not finding clear information.

Yes, you will need them from any country that you lived in for 6 or more months, after the age of 18. The police clearances are for the applicant only, not the sponsor.

Thank you for the info. I just called the Czech embassy in Seoul. They are asking if I need an apostille. It does not appear so according to the application checklist, but just wanted to check if that is necessary.
