Hi everyone. I passed m'y test yesterday. I got 19/20 and when I complète the interview with the office they told me to bring the police certificate from my home country , i will send it next monday to my citizenship office. Do you think that they delay the process of my application,

Did you spend more time in country more than 184 days ? Or just a because he felt like he want to ask so

I see , I hope all will go smoothly and you will get DM soon , good luck

It can delay for 1 to 2 months but can be more depending on the applicant's application.

my question :

why they did not request before the test

also

why he did not supply when he applied

it is so funny from both side

Hi as aa,

Did u spend more than 180 days in total during the last 4 years in your country?
Why u did not send then the police certificate with the application?
Please clarify to us.

Kindest Regards,

I was so stupid I though it is 183 per year so I am so screwed and sad I don't know that to do I will give you my days and tell me if I am correct I become pr in 18 aug 2012 I applied in the 28 March 2017
2012 : 136 Day no absent
2013 : 322 / 36 days absent Moroccan
2014 : 350 / 8 days absent Moroccan
2015: 238 / 127
2016: 339/ 27 days morocco
2017 : 86
So now the 4 years are 2017 / 2016 / 2015 / 2014 Or 2016 /2015/2014/2013
I am so confused and I am really crying

So last 4 years since I applied in 28 March is included 2017 so the 4 yeas is 2017- 2016 -2015-2014 / or I should count 2016/2015 /2014/2013 really i am so confused because if I don't count 2013 is less 36 days ?!!! So can some one expect let me know honestly I can not sleep :(

Hi, yes I spent more than 180 days during the last 4 ys , I ma de an error in the application , I answered no to the question . Do you spend 183 in the last 4 years, because I think that the question means per year this is why I answer no, but m'y application didnt returned, they start in processing m'y application but during m'y interview with the officer, hé asked me to bring the police certificate with in in 30 days , tommorow I will send the certificate, but I am woried that they delay the processing of my application.
Kindest Regards,

Mostly, no need to panic. I am sure more than a few have made the same mistake.

If indeed you did make a mistake and failed to properly check "yes" for Item 6.M., NO need to panic.

IRCC recognizes people make mistakes.

My sense is that so long as the presence calculation declarations are accurate and complete, and you appropriately provided information in the purpose box, thus fully disclosing how many days you were in another country, it should be apparent it was a mistake and not an effort to conceal the fact. After all, you disclosed the underlying factual information, and just misinterpreted Item 6.M.

My guess is that this has happened for more than a few.
