Police Certificate

Guys, I have a question.

We need to show police certificate if we have lived in a place for more than 6 months.
Is it in a row?
Os 5 months once and then 5 months in another year?

If you went on visitors visa then you would not require to send police clearance certificate.
IF you went on other visas and stated fo over 6 months each time, only then you would need to send police cert.
