I am asked to complete the medicals and pay the fees for PR.
Along with that, I am asked Police certificate, which states as below.
"Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six
months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate for
yourself and your spouse from India"
Does it mean I need to provide Police clearance certificate from all places I stayed in India
since my age of 18 years?
I stayed at multiple places and its difficult to provide PCC from all places I stayed in India.
I am currently staying at single place at Bangalore since last 10 years and I have already
received the PCC for it.
Could you please suggest if I need to get PCC for all the previous years since 18 years of age ?

I also got a similar query. I also stayed in multiple places since age of 18 years. Their letter mentions "country/state"??
Did you also try to obtain information from their office/embassy on this?? have you got some other information on this?? Have your submitted your docs and got any query from them??
PCC is issued for a particular country and pcc is not issued for particular states. If u have resided in more than 1 country since 18 years of ur age, u need to submit pcc's from those countries. As u have resided only in India, u need to go to passport office and apply for PCC. That's it.
Don't make it complicated by misunderstanding of different locations.
