Police certificate Question

I got an ITA and to submit the e-APR the system says i need a police certificate from my country of origin. okay, so it's been 7 years I live in Canada and I have a police certificate from my country of origin from 2013. The last time i lived in my country of origin for more than 6 months in a row was before 2013. Do I need to submit a new police certificate or the one I have is enough?

If the police certificate was issued after you last lived in the country it is still valid. If it was issued before you left the country for the last time, you will need a new one.

I left the country on august 2013 and the certificate was issued on June2013 (validity was from june to september) is it valid?

Do we need to get PCC attested from Ministry of foreign affairs ?
If we took the PCC a day before leaving the country and never returned back to same country, is this PCC valid ?

No it is not. The PCC must have been issued AFTER you left the country for the last time, not a week before you left, not a day before you left, not an hour before you left. AFTER you left.

Yes the Police certificate has to be issued after you left the country. Contact your high commission to know how you can get one.

It makes sense, thank's guys. With the covid thing life got more complicated getting a document takes ages

I found an agency in my home country that made my PCC in 1 day and delivered by DHL. Maybe worth it to research it.

What country is that? In my country you have 2 choices either you do it through the embassy and it takes 1 month or you give the right to someone to do it for you and you still need an official letter from you with the embassy's stamp...complicated stuff

Ukraine no, I just sent a passport photo, paid the extra money and that was it. I will do the translation/certified copy here in Canada
