Police certificate from RCMP in Ottawa ?? Please give me an answer

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone has already required a police certificate from the Royal Canadien Mounted Police in Ottawa ? How long did it take ??

I am applying from Outside Canada. I've checked on several sites: They say 4 months on RCMP web sites but several people said they 've received it within 1/2 months. Once again this is an application made from outside Canada.

Thanks for replying as I am so anxious. CIC needs this certificate within 3 months.

The people who got the results in less than a month used live scan through the Corp of Commissionaires. You can't do it from outside Canada, you have to send paper prints. Paper prints will take 3/4 months.
