Me and my wife are Indian Citizens. My wife is working in US on J1 Visa. I need to submit her sponsorship application and need her Police Certificate from India.
1. How can we get the Police certificate for her in this case?
2. How much time would it take for the same?
Thanks a lot for your response.
Sorry for not framing the question right. I wanted to ask about PCC from(for) India while living in US and what is the processing time for the same.

To acquire a PCC (Police Clearance Certificate) for Indian Citizen living in United States, kindly apply for the same in Indian Embassy.
The link for the NY Embassy is:

If you live in west coast then look for Indian Embassy in California. I have experience from both the embassy and it took approx. 2-3 weeks from the day I send my passport to the time I received it back in mail. Read the instructions carefully and send the return paid envelops. They are very helpful in case you want to call them and if they don't pick up then leave a good voicemail and you will hear back from them.
