Police Certificate for Father Sponsorship

CIC is now processing sponsorship applications from May 9, 2007 and mine was dated July 20, 2007.
Im anticipating to hear soon about the sponsorship approval and I told my dad back home to prepare for his Police Certificate....

Do you think it's better to wait to get this certificate until when they send him his PR forms, which could be in 1 or 2 months....

Or can I Prepare this now but the certificate may be 2 months old by the time we send it in....

not sure how sensitive CIC is with police certificates prepared before...

Hi,

You don't have to ask your father now to apply for the PCC .
He can get it done when he is almost ready for submitting the application.
Please note that the timeline for PR processing under 'parental sponsorship' is almost 5 to 6 years. So there is no sense in making PCC in hurry now.
