If i stayed in a country for 5.5 mmonths
170 days
Will i need to get a police certificate?
 
Technically, no. But you should explain this in your LOE in full. That or just submit a PCC if it's from a country that's easy to get.

I was only in xxx country for a total of 170 days and as per IRCC instructions I am not required to obtain a PCC.
