Police Certificate expiry-3 months.What if not been to that country in 5 years?

I am Canadian, my wife Kazakh. We live in Beijing. We need a police certificate for Russia, Kazakhstan and China. My wife has not been to Russia for over 5 years. The problem is coordinating the certificates. The Russian embassy says 6 months and did it in 2. The Kazakh embassy does not do them, my wife needs to get from Kazakhstan. The Chinese one take 3-4 weeks, and is reliable.

My question - do they need a less than 3 month police certificate from Russia, even if she is has not been there for 5 years?

The difficulty is coordinating all 3 certificates reliably. If we reapply for Russia, maybe it will be 6 months?

Turn in all you have and in where you supply the police records write a letter stating that the one takes 6 months and as soon as you recieve it you will submitt it.It doesnt mater if you have not been to that country in 20 years if she lived there at anytime she needs to submitt it.
Just make sure the app goes in while the ones you do have are current.
