Im from Japan and I m living in Canada around 2 years in a Common-law Relationship with my partner that he is Canadian Citizen. I need to know if I have to submit police certificates with my application for PRC under the Spouse or Common-law Partner in Canada Class Or they ask for that after?
You will need to submit your police certificate up front.
Are you applying for Permanent Resdency ??
I have the same question, do I have to submit a police certificate only for myself or for my non-accompanying family members also? The application guidelines and document checklist are very confusing
Yourself and any dependents
If it's a Permanent Residency application they will ask you to submit your Police documents later. They are only valid for 3 months, so better get them when they ask you, oherwise they might be expired by the time they request them.
Police checks are for any body included in your application.

This is completely incorrect.
Well if you think so you should clarify why so that the person asking this thread doesn't get confused
