Hi. I've lived in Canada for 7 years now and I came as a student. When I was applying for my study permit I was requested to provide a police certificate from my country, which I did. I currently hold a PGWP and I was invited to apply under CEC and I am requested to provide a police certificate once more. I haven't lived in in my home country since I left for Canada 7 years ago, thus the record I am asked to provide is the same as the one I gave 7 years ago. Is that normal?
It is normal. The same with mine. I have to get the new one from my country. If you don't provide it, they will refuse ur application right away deal to incompleteness. Unless your country requests the letter from IRCC to get PCC
