My husband has applied for PR inland, but he's from the United States. He's living with me right now in Canada. We got to the stage of submitting his police certificate, and I just received it in the mail. There's an attached form saying that we may need an apostille or authentication on the certificate. Will CIC not accept it if it's not authenticated? Has anyone had any issues? Or know the process for getting it authenticated?
