Points updated after new information???

Hello fellas, i have a quick question.

I am planning to apply for Canadian skill worker immigration and currently have 65 points. However, i will graduate my MS program in about 8 months from now. and then i will have 5 extra points that will be more than 67 needed. My question is that, can i add my MS degree certificate later like any other police report , medical report paper works? Or i have to ahve 67 points right now when i apply?

it takes about 2 yrs minimum to make them a decision i heard, so any updated information in that period will effect the points?

You can add a letter to your application saying that you are going to graduate with a Master's degree. Also add a letter from the university that will indicate the date of graduation.

The worst that can happen is that your application will be returned back to you (CIC will also return the processing fee) and you'll have to wait until you graduate. But most likely you'll be all right.

You are only missing 2 points. Have you though about taking a crash course in French and taking TEF? Even with basic level results you'll get additional 2 points.

thanks for your reply. i was actually thinking of the French classes. However, i am not sure where and how to take TEF test. i thought they have limited testing center in USA. can you help me on that? where exactly i can contact and also about what quick courses i can take or may be a book.

TEF testing centers are indeed limited in US, but there are some in most major cities (Chicago, New York, LA, Houston, D.C.).

There is a special book for TEF.

i m little bit confused regarding assessment points i have completed 16 years of study have masters degree bcz on assessment chart there are 15 years or 17 years study points.
