Points Mismatch in CRS Calculator and Express Entry Profile

Hello Everyone,

We just finished our express entry profile creation and was awarded a total points of 430. However, when we had earlier checked in the CRS calculator, we had obtained a total score of 470.

Has anyone experienced this before? Please do share your experiences or any other related inputs.

This isn't possible unless there is discrepancy between the inputs to each one of them. Without knowing the details nobody can tell (except probably yourself) which is correct.

The issue has been resolved. The profile took some time to get updated.

For those looking to calculate your score, the official CRS calculator (cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp) should be the best option.

Here's the breakdown of the points:

CRS - Human Capital - Age 100
CRS - Human Capital - Level of Education 119
CRS - Human Capital - First Official Language Proficiency 125
CRS - Spouse - First Official Language Proficiency 18
CRS - Skill Transferability - Education 50
CRS - Skill Transferability - Foreign Work Experience 50

Overall score: 462
