Sorry if this post is redundant over previous posts:

My spouse has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and Masters of Commerce (M.Com) degree. But the Bachelor degree is 3 years. Total number of years of education is 17 (Higher Secondary:12, B.Com:3 and M.Com:2 years).

So do we get 4 points or 5 points for the Spouse's level of Education in the Adaptability criteria?

Thanks

5

A master’s degree or PhD and at least 17 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies: 5 points

Hello Friends,

Please advice on spouse education points,
My wife has done her full time masters degree in Commerce (M.com).
With this, can i avail 5 points under adaptability..?
and if so, should i have to get her certificates to be assessed by WES..?

Your advice is highly appreciated..?

Thanks..

The rules have changed since this thread was created (you shouldn't post on 4-years old thread by the way). Points are no longer awarded for spouse's education (unless the education was in Canada). Instead, you can get 5 points if the spouse takes IELTS and scores above CLB 4.

Hi,
Firstly thank you so much for the info,
infact im new to this forum and not sure about the rules.
And regarding spouse IELTS, my wife got an over all score of 5 with 3.5 in reading, and rest all 6, from this can i avail points,
Please advice.

Thanks.

Sorry guys, I have a question regarding spouse education, do I need to send proof of education of my spouse, she is not principal applicant. From checklist I understood that it is no needed.. but I want to be sure. Thank you in advance.

No need for spouse's education documents at all, unless you are claiming points for her canadian education.
