1. If I have a employment prior to landing, is it ok to carry the Canadian employment letter having salary details, etc as POF?? .. or is the home country POF still required??
2. For the home country funds, is it ok to have it in the home country currency (not in CAD) and show the proof like Bank Statements, etc in the home country currency as POF?? (my idea is to carry 2K CAD cash in hand and remaining in home country currency (bank stmt proofs).
POF at landing is normally required of FSW applicants without a job offer. When you have a job, there's usually no specific POF required at landing although they may ask how you will support yourself until you start to get your pay checks. 2k should be enough for you to say that you will rent a room and eat until you start to get paid.

Hi! im new here.
My husband and I will be migrating to Canada this coming feb 2015. I have an issue with propf of funds. We already spent the $10k for downpayment for our condo and our remaining money is $6k. is it okay that the POF we will be bring is below $10k? My husband is currently working in canada then he will go home here in Phil to fetch me.
