Hello guys, I am new here. I have a question regarding proof of funds.
I recently received ITA and my score was 453. Amount required 19,093 CAD
I am the PA and my husband is the accompanying. He received in August 20000 CAD from a friend as a gift. We created EE profile in mid October and recieved ITA in late october. So basically the money has been in my husband's account for 3 months before profile creation and submission. I am still waiting for the bank to get the financial letter but in case the bank refused to give me a financial letter according to CIC requirements, does gift deed from a friend work? If yes can the donor write on plain paper and sign it along with his ID? I know that I have to prove that I can access the money in my husband's account and already got this paper. I am really confused and need your advice please!

The letter from the bank is a MUST! I dont see why they wouldn't issue one for you.
In addition to that you need a gift deed letter (from the donor) where he states that the money is a gift and he has no intention to get that money back

The donor is willing to do that. He wrote on a plain paper and sign it along with his ID. Is that enough without notary? Does the CIC accept gift deed from friends or the donor should have a blood relationship to the recipient?

You should not get a gift deed from a friend. If funds are 3 months older, simply provide a 3 months banks statement and consent letter that you have full access to those funds.
What if my mother sent me an extra 4000 dollars during this month
Do I have to get a gift deed from her even if I already have the minimum funds required by CIC

I aim to use this money to pay for visa and Right of pr fees so it will not stay in my account when I submit my pr application but it will be shown in 6 months bank statement.Do I still need that gift deed even if I used all the money sent to me before submitting my app.

Can you explain the cause of rejection?
The one I have is notarized and legal.
The problem is my friend transfered that money long time ago since august.
