POF for OINP nominated CEC candidates

For those who got OINP nominated as CEC candidates, do they have to show POF?

As per IRCC:
Who does not need proof of funds

You don’t need to show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family if
you’re applying under the Canadian Experience Class or
you’re authorized to work in Canada and you have a valid job offer, even if you apply under the Federal Skilled Worker Program or the Federal Skilled Trades Program

If either of these applies to you then the answer is NO.

Thanks for your reply! My understanding is that EE only has 3 stream that they invite to apply under

1. CEC
2. FSTP
3. FSWP

Currently, I am eligible for PNP and CEC as per my EE profile. So if there is a PNP draw, will i be invited to apply as CEC? Is my understanding correct? I am a bit confused about it.

Your ITA will have a details of whether you are invited under CEC or FSW.

ok so even if its a PNP draw and i am invited in it, the ITA will tell me which stream i will be assessed under?

As it’s OINP, you are more likely to be invited under PNP. Even if it’s PNP and you are authorized to work and have a job offer, then you won’t need to show POF.
