I was looking to supply Proof of Funds for my eAPR application. I have enough funds in my chequing account but the issue is CIBC wont provide the financial profile information required by CIC.
All they gave me is a letter stating the date I opened the account and my current balance. Is that enough as a POF?

Hi, Yes, this will work fine. CIBC does not provide any customized letter for immigration. They have their own format which called "Immigration letter". Just attach your 6 months bank statement and the business card of the signing officer. It worked perfectly fine for me. Best of luck.
I have attached POF from scotiabank where they declare total amount i have in my account and write their phone number at the end to clear any queries. is it ok?

Hi,
I have an account with CIBC and have obtained a POF from them. Like other members, I do not have 6 months average as well as my account number mentioned on the statements. I am planning to attach 6 months statements. Should the statements be attached?
Thanks!!
