POE Letter / Visa start times?

Hi everyone,

This question I am sure sounds extremely simple, so please forgive my lack of knowledge on the subject.

I am applying for a WHV/IEC Visa and have been invited to start my application.

However, I do not intend to actually move to Canada until December. I am wondering that when I receive my work permit / POE letter, when does my Visa duration begin? Is it from the time I enter the country (i.e. I enter Canada on December and my 24 months begin from the date my passport is stamped upon entry)

Or is there a date specified on the POE letter?

Again, my apologies for the simplicity of my question. I appreciate any help which is provided very much.

1. LOE will be valid for 1 year.
2. Your 2 years start the date you enter Canada.
