Pnp work permit extensions

I need ur help guys. I got my oinp nomination feb 12 2018 and my work permit expires on may 2019 . Nomination has employement restriction. Nomination also with work permit extensionz so my question is that i need to extened my work permit right away or i can extened it before 4 months of my actual PWGP expires. Because if i restrict my work permit before one year i have to work with my employer. I have one more year of open work permit left. And i already apply for PR paper based waiting for AOR . I appriciate your help regarding this. I m so comfuse. Thank you
