PNP while in EE

Hello Everyone,

Im currently in the pool.

Now, a hypothetical situation: Im at 427 points. But, I receive a PNP from Prince Edward Island.

So, does that 600 points add up to my 427 and become 1027?
If yes, I'll still wait for the CRS draws and I get a PR from the EE pool. In this case, am I restricted to Prince Edward Island for 2 years or whole of Canada is open for me?

1. Yes, your points will get a 600 points boost.
2. Even with PNP, you still have to wait for the draw. But, can be assured that you will get in the next draw.
2. You are obligated to stay and work in Prince Edward or atleast can make an effort. There is no time frame for this. You can still work anywhere you want, but during your PR renewal there may be an interview assessing how much effort you made to settle in Prince Edward.

You should have proofs of applying for jobs, application rejections etc. This would help to show that you tried and din't get any opportunity.

Right. But would it make sense to apply for jobs before receiving the ITA?

I am talking about after you land. There may or may not be a issue during your PR renewal. But it is safe to have this before you move to other province.

I get an ITA and subsequently a PR.

It is your obligation to stay and work in Prince Edward Island. But there are people who moved to other provinces. But if you are landing in Ontario, then don't forget to say that you will be reaching Prince Edward Island as your final destination, when the immigration officer asks you why you landed there.
