PNP principal applicant wants to go back to home country asap due to emergency

PNP principal applicant wants to go back to home country asap.
We are under Prov Nominee Prg, the principal applicant wants to go back to Phils due to a family emergency however he doesnt have his PR card yet, can he do that then just return to Manitoba?
Pls help!

He can return but he will need either a) his PR card sending to him or b) a Travel Document issued by CEM or c) to renter Canada via a land border from the USA in a private crossing, with his Landing documents.

I think that's all the alternatives.

Once the family is issued PRs, each of the family memebrs are completely independant in terms of PR and citizenship. So, if your husband doesn't come back, it will not affect your status anymore.
