So it took you less than 12 months to receive your medical request. I have also applied on april 27th 2017 but havent received medical yet, i thought maybe i will receive it in June 2018.
When do you think i will get the medical request.

I thought your AOR date is April 27. Then it would be couple days earlier of your AOR date. Don't even think of doing Upfront. We regret after doing upfront. It makes thing even slower as they need to extend it for some weired reason. My upfront medical is still valid for another 4 months but they still extended, not sure why. So...

NO my aor date is july 13th 2017
So i was thinking i will get medical by june 2018.

I was surprised how this other guy got it already, he applied in april 2017 too.

I was going to do upfront medical on 16th april 2018, its valid for one year.

You can still do but I don't recommend. Just my honest suggestion. Other experts can suggest as well.

i'm a june 1st applicant from south korea and in land.
my timeline is
Received : june 1st 2016
AOR : Sep 1st 2016
RPRF : nov 9 2016
Request Ducuments(Criminal record again in korea) dec 04 2016
Exam : June 14 2017
Issued my and wife new passport(Expire soon): july 6 2017
no more update still in progress(ECAS)

I enquired my application status via cic web form.
I received below email last week.
please read and let me know that about
"your application is currently in queue for review by an officer."

Did they verify with your employer?

Yes, I'm on a closed WP. My employer never mentioned it to me. So Don't know anything about it. The PNP people called to varify my employment. Not sure if the CIC people call the employer or not. Is it part of the BG check?

Ya pnp officer verify with employer just one time at the beginning but i dont know if the cic will verify with employer during background check.

Some people say yes some people say no, dont know whom to believe

I called IRCC today
They told me Eligibility & Criminality is completed , and the Security is in process (not completed yet)
