My rep's assistant fucked up majorly when she didn't see a request in my account for weeks, so I took my login and password info from them so I can check my account regularly.

So I called CIC yesterday and they told me my background check has been finished and now the file is under final review with the officer.

ghost update happens when your background check is done. PPR happens after the final review. Sometimes final review takes just a couple of hours, sometimes longer.

I called at 3 pm PST and waited for 50 minutes. They can't tell how long the review takes, I guess it depends on how busy the officer is.

My frnds ghost update was on 17 april. On his gcms notes file was reviewed and approved on same day and same time but he got dm and ppr after more than 1 month.

I got ghost update on July 09. Nothing since then on my Gckey or Ecas. I called one day to the officer and he said it was approved. After few days I called another officer to communicate my change of address and she did not mention anything about the approval, only that was in the final stage...
