I have an employer willing to sponsor my PR. I want to apply for FSW under AEO category. Employer is in Alberta. I am currently in US and can apply from here, but may go back to India after the application is filed. Not sure at this moment. I can maintain some correspondence address in US if need arises. I have quite a few relatives.
1) What is the rough time it takes for the employer to get AEO from HRSDC, lets say if he applied tomorrow?
2) Once I send my application with AEO to Nova Scotia, I am guessing it takes around 8 to 12 months until I get passport back with stamping. Correct me if I am wrong.
I don't want to go through provincial nomination because I see that Alberta takes 11 months for processing nomination under employer-driven stream...LOL...I don't know who would apply with them then.
1) I don't really know the answers but an LMO can take from a couple of weeks to a few months and AEO should be easier/faster to get so hopefully only a couple of weeks. He could ask when he applies for it
2) Sounds about right but since CIC only started processing by the new rules in late November, there isn't really enough experience to say for sure what the timelines will be.
You ask who applies with AINP. That's simple... that's people who don't qualify for FSW
it took 5 weeks for me.
i already did my medicals , send my application on april 24 2008, i'm still waiting for them to request my passports.............palomo
