i have a mbs(medicine of biochemic science) degree from dr, schussler college in calcutta for two years course.but today i get letter from embassy that they find that this coleege dont exsit or not registerd and they dont give me 15 points for the education.so i am at 53 points.but this is original degree with this degree i can open a own practice in india. what to do?

May i know from which university your college affiliated ? What is the official title of MBS ? is it done after Bachelor or ??

Hello Auscan,

We've had several similar cases in this forum. CIC requires that a degree is to be accredited by authorities of country of issuance. What I suggest is you getvan official letter from the accreditation body in your country, then resubmit the same to your VO. It should work.

OP6, procedure 6.3 reads: "Educational credential‖ is defined in R73 as any diploma, degree or trade or apprenticeship credential issued on the completion of a program of study or training at an educational or training institution recognized by the authorities responsible for registering, accrediting, supervising and regulating such institutions in the country of issue. "

How about getting the transcript from the University itself. A University name will be a common one to the VO and they won't question in that case.

Guys, Does anyone know where to approach at Calcutta University to get the transcript for grad course? Any department / person You guys know??
