Ielts - L(9) R(8 ) W(6) S(6) O(7.5)

want to apply for MEng (mech)
currently applying for western university MAY term
but they take too much time give a decision and i am worried cause if got rejected i will have 2 yr gap in my studies
considering this should i apply for PGDC course in colleges for jan 2015 or wait for decision and apply for 2015 FALL admissions in other univ
what are the chances of getting admission after 2 yr gap
should i take the risk of waiting out for fall admissions ???
