Pls reply me urgent- Regarding Study permit

Hello,

I am in a dilemma that can anyone hold study and work permit together?

The thing is that I will have to apply for post-grad work permit on the basis of the completion of my current program and I can. Now, I still have not finished 1 course in previous program(the program before current one) . Now, I read on one of the comments on this forum that we can study or take courses if its less than 6 moths while we are on work-permit. So can I finish that 1 course which is not going to last for more than 4 months, after getting my post-grad work permit?? [I still have study permit till March-2013 and I will finish that course in April ]

Help will be highly appreciated.

I suggest you ask the international students' office at your school.

I already asked and they said I can have both permits together. Anyway thankx for ur reply. And I believe CIC is telling smthng different for exception case like me who wants to finish 1 course and of 4 months.
