@psahu1207 since you have done masters from US and have worked there for a few years, I am assuming:
1. You have basic computer skills
2. English language skills
3. You are familiar with immigration process - at least the fundamentals of immigration
I will strongly suggest you fill out forms by yourself. There is absolutely nothing that a consultant adds in a straightforward case. I guess may be consultants are needed in complex situations - asylum and such. Just start filling out your application and you will find that it is super easy.
For your masters in US, you must have already completed WES education evaluation. See if you can add your US MS degree to the same file.
If you have not stayed only in US and India for more than 6 months in last 10 years, getting a police certificate from these countries is super easy.
If you have completed masters in 2009-10 time frame, I am guessing you are 30+. With just a masters your score of 511 seems high. Please recheck.
You cannot claim any points for work experience in Canada or education experience in Canada - please double check options you chose in CRS calculator.
I can confidently say that the immigration consultants are swindling you by claiming that they will market your resume etc. etc. Immigration consultants are in no position to do that. They will also say that they will apply for province specific nominations etc. But dont fall for that trap. There is nothing an immigration consultant will do that you can do by spending 5 minutes.
Most important steps like appearing for IELTS exam, obtaining police clearance certificate, education evaluation from WES will be done by you - whether or not you go with a consultant. So basically your consultant will just fill in the form which actually takes 10 min.
