Hi I have applied for centennial biotech fast track prog.... My IELTS is 6.5 overall
R-5.5
L-6.6
S-6.5
W-6.5
I attended for spot admissions and the centennial admission team told me that my application will be send to English review as i have 5.5 in one module. They told it takes 2 weeks. My application went for review on 19th april and still not get reply. Can any one pls tell me what is english review? and what exactly they will do in review? I am really tensed abt my offer.... The time is going up.... I wanna drop my visa by 1st week of june... pls guys pls let me knw what they will do in english review. I finished my b.phm in 2006 and since then i was working and submitted my experience letters also. pls help me

Hi,
In centenial if you applied for one of this programe , Fast Track Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma and Ontario Graduate Certificate Programs
you must have 6.5 not less than 6 whereas u have 5.5 in reading thats why i think they told you for english review.

yes ashok i know that 5.5 in reading is the reason for the english review... But i wanted to know for how long and how this review takes place? They told its for 2 weeks... As of today its exactly 2 weeks.... So m bit tensed... :'(

Hi

Yes english requirement for Fast Track program is overall 6.5 with no band less than 6.0. If your case is in review that means they will look your overall profile like year 10th & 12th percentage and your application might be consider for full offer letter.

why dont u take IELTS again and try improve ur reading score....

i m in the same position i applied for visual creative arts at Sheridan college from April 13 but didn't have a replied yet

@banta.... pls let me as soon as u get it and hw much is ur IELTS? many people even with IELTS overall band 6.0 are getting their offer letters..... But dont knw why we cant get ours just bcos of one module........... :'(

I dont think U should be worried at all. U will get the offer letter and in the worse scenario u might be asked to attend a few English upgradation classes at your college before the actual course starts and u might be required to obtain certain marks in English before the advancement of your course..
