Pls help!!! Can I apply an open work permit for my common law ???

I am a LCV and I will apply for an open work permit and PR in the end of this month. I have my common-law and we had prove so I'll try to apply PR for her. (I worked 1 yr and stayed with her 1 yr and come back to work for 1 yr) The questions are about Open work permit. Can I apply an open work permit for my common-law too ? She is got a job offer (LCV) and her application are on process in New york. (She is holder the visitor visa right now and staying in Canada) I'm thinking If she got an open work permit so she doesn't need to be a nanny and she can do the other work. That's why I need your advise.

Yes you can include her in you PR application but she will not get open work permit right away. You need to get first stage approval within a year or 2. They call it AIP approved in principal then she's qualified for OWP.
She will then receive 3-in 1 kit that includes your proof of relationship. Just follow what is need to submit in pr application for live in caregiver. And wait until you get your AIP.
