Good day!
I am in need of an advice for a website to give me a step by step guide to start my sponsorship (OUTLAND) to my boyfriend in the Philippines. I just had my divorce granted and now planning to bring him here in Ontario. I cannot fall under spouse sponsorship for him because he was married 5 years ago but only stayed with his wife (who is currently nowhere to find) for 6 months, basically he holds a certificate being still legally married and that's the reason why i can't marry him.
I also want to get a checklist of requirements as i am going to see him in the Philippines 2 months from now, documents that we need to secure before my coming back to Canada. Thank you in advance.
You could also try this thread here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/manila-philippines-time-line-conjugal-partner-male-to-male-female-to-female-t51925.0.html
Some things needed from the Philippines: Birth Certificates, Marriage Certificates (to prove you cannot marry as he is already married) Proof that he is not with his wife anymore, a passport that's valid for awhile longer, a medical exam, photos to the specifications in the country specific guide, and his signature on all the forms. Get ready all your communication history and photos and maybe open a bank account together while you're there. You would also need birth certificate and medical and photographs for his kid if he has one, even if not accompanying, if he ever wanted his kid to come to canada.
