I really need advice from seniors .

I think My friend is going to put himself in trouble and I want to safe him.

My friend came to US on student visa. He married to two US citizen but things did not work out . They divorced and he deported from US. NOT ANY CHARGE. then he left US and went to his home country. He changed his name (in his passport)and enter to US from Mexico border ( He changed his name in his passport in his country)

He enter to US and live illegal . He did not use his passport with new name. ( so the passport with new name never used in US)He just used his old US ID card.

Now he is going to marry Canadian and going to apply with his ( passport he has different name and never used in US). He don't want to use his ( name he used in US) in his PR.

First If he apply with name he never used in US how CIC will be able to know what name he used in US? And all his history

Second FBI finger print will be with the name he has in passport ( NOT THE NAME HE USED IN US)

I know he is doing wrong but Please , answer logically so I can give him logical reason and stop him.

Thanks

He's going to need to provide a police certificate from Mexico in order to be approved as a permanent resident in Canada. It's quite possible he's going to run into a great deal of difficulty obtaining a police certificate for a fake name he used in a passport. So that's one problem I see.

He will also have to provide details about where he has lived, where he has worked, etc. for all of these years. CIC will then use this information to run a background check on him. If the information doesn't match or if there is information missing (there are years with no history) - this will be another flag to CIC that something is wrong.

He won't be the first or the last person who has tried something like this - and he won't be the first or last to get caught. Countries like the US, Canada and Mexico share a great deal of information and there's probably a lot about him Canada will be able to find out relatively easily.
